- Lamination is the process of applying a thin layer of film to paper or card sheets to enhance and protect the print. Our recent investment into an Autobond laminator with additional heated roller ensures the highest quality for our customers. We have a number of lamination finishes available. These include Matt, Gloss, Soft-touch or Velvet, Textured, Coloured and Silk. Take a look at each of these finishes in our glossary. We can also now provide an antibacterial lamination which aims to kill any bacteria or virus which lands on it. It is long-lasting and highly active making it an ideal choice for packaging/menus.
- Gloss Lamination Gloss lamination adds a high gloss sheen often used on brochure covers, menus, magazine covers or presentation folders. It is a high impact option. It forms a protective coating over the print which makes it suitable for items such as menus and brochures.
- Matt Lamination Matt lamination gives a subtle, tactile effect that oozes quality. It has a high resistance to folding and tearing. Giving superior performance in printing varnishing and foil blocking
- Textured Lamination Textured laminate gives your project a unique look and feel.
- Antibacterial Lamination Hygiene has become an essential part of daily life in the new world. We now offer anti-bacterial lamination which aims to reduce the spread of viruses and bacteria on surfaces, killing up to 99.9% of bacteria. Ideal for menus, the film is long lasting, incredibly durable and highly active.
- Soft touch Lamination Soft touch lamination provides a protective finish with a matt effect and velvet texture.
